Well, the media ball is rolling.

We provided these comments to BBC Scotland on 17th and 19th June.

MSPs are now chipping into the debate - see today's P&J article.

(Please note, it's not clear from that article that Banchory fought hard in 2010-11 to secure 8 S4 subjects in 2013-14 and it was the unexpected, arbitrary and unilateral withdrawal of that timetable by Aberdeenshire EL&L in June 2012 which has reignited parents' concerns.  So, when saying that we had been allowed a degree of flexibility and control, the Scottish Government spokeswoman was not describing the current picture).

In this world of social media and online forums the further we can spread the word and gather views on CfE in Senior Phase from parents not just in Aberdeenshire but from all over Scotland, the more informed we will be and the more chance we have of the parental voice being heard.

There's a couple of current Mumsnet threads: Scottish Secondary - Please help. New National 4/5 how many will your council allow? and Number of subjects studied at S4 under CfE.

And there's the Facebook page Curriculum for Excellence - Parents' Voice.

Do we have any Twitter afficionados out there? That's one channel as yet unexplored.
