Welcome back after the long summer break!
The Parent Forum AGM will be on Thursday September 7th at 7pm in school, followed by the first Parent Council meeting at 7.30pm.
It's a great opportunity to find out more about the Parent Council, hear its report on last year and help set its priorities for this year.
There are two parts to the meeting - firstly, at 7pm there is the Parent Forum AGM in the Drama Studio. All parents/carers are automatically members of the Parent Forum and the Parent Council is the representative body for that forum. At the AGM the Parent Council reports backon the last year and the Parent Council for this new year is formed.
Immediately following the Parent Forum AGM, at 7.30pm the first Parent Council meeting will take place in the school library. The Parent Council meets approximately once a month during term time - all meetings are open to all parents/carers.
It would be great to see you there - particularly new S1 parents. If you can't make the meeting itself, you can keep up with what's going on via this site or our Twitter feed (@bapc_Banchory) to find out about relevant information, including minutes of all meetings. Please contact us with any suggestions or queries. We also had a Facebook presence which could do with some revitalisation - any FB gurus very welcome!
